Officer Training March 4, 2017

On March 4, 2017, Moscow Area will conduct the 4rd training for Moscow Toastmasters club officers.

We are sure that this info-packed, experience-oozing session  will answer all the questions our officers might have and will inspire them to new achievements!

The First workshop of Moscow Officers Training “Mindfulness” will be held by Maxim Silin, ACB, ALS andBogdan Mihailov.

“Ever found yourself in the midst of competing priorities, missing out on the important deadlines and struggling to co-op with the ever growing informational burden?! In this workshop, you will learn why the world’s leading innovative companies encourage staff to do mindful practices regularly, and try it out for yourself,”– reassures Max.

The second workshop is “How NOT to conduct a Toastmaster Contest” by Sergey Saprykin, CC.

This session will bear a hand to you and will prevent certain things while organizing Conferences and Clubs’ Contests. To make it even more entertaining the performance will be based on the “failure” principle (what shouldn’t be done… but it happened somehow).

Anna Ponomareva, ACS, ALB will speak on Effective evaluation.

The tone and content of an evaluation have great impact on the speaker and even on the club. A harsh evaluation may cause a member to leave the club. An overly kind evaluation may not help the member to improve, making the member frustrated and unhappy. Good evaluators strive to find a balance between the extremes, giving evaluations that are helpful and encouraging,” – says Effective Evaluation Manual.

And this is just the beginning!

Valeria Kholodkova, DTM will share her vast Toastmaster experience in the workshop on Increasing member involvement.

Our Trainers will also speak about Team-building within the Executive Committee, Best practices from foreign Toastmaster Clubs…  More details on these three workshops will be revealed in the next newsletters.

If you are interested in a club officer role and want to attend the event, please  contact your club president.
